Website History

This website was first hosted at Awardspace.com (http://bfr.tifreakware.net), but I was having trouble with certain things, such as uploading or even linking to .zip files and using Java applets (and it turned out that it was because of restrictions Awardspace had). So, Vladik kindly let me have a subdomain at his website (which was http://bfr.ticalcs.net), but he decided that it was too insecure. Afterwards, tifreak8x let me have a subdomain at his website, TI-Freak Ware, and that's still where this website currently resides.

I initially had a smooth gray and white theme, but I was told that it was, well, too gray and white and needed some color, so I changed it to have a blue theme. My old website at http://bfr.awardspace.net still has the blue theme and my other old website at http://bfr.ticalcs.net still has a (slightly updated) blue theme. I then completely redid the layout - partially because I was getting tired of the light gray and blue theme, and partially because it only worked how it was supposed to on certian browsers and monitors. The new layout, as you can see, consists of a red and black theme, along with menus on each side of the page and news in the middle. From there, I made small updates occasionally, but one of the bigger updates is when I made a new (MySQL) dynamic database-driven news system with my own custom administration panel and a PHP script to automatically generate an RSS feed. This made the news system much easier to use and maintian, and...it is just...great.
